Passing diamond - Dortmund
A technical passing drill that develops one-two combinations and movement. A central player is put under pressure by the coach. The ball is played centrally, placing the player under pressure. The initial passer makes a movement to shake off the "defender" (cone) and become an available option. The wide player also makes a movement to lose their marker (mannequin/cone). The central player breaks free from their marker to receive a pass from the wide player. The one-two combinations continue. The drill concludes with a longer pass from the top player to a wide player, who makes a movement before receiving the ball. The drill develops receiving under pressure, combination play, and movement timing.
