Interception (DMC)

Two zones (A and B) with a "neutral zone" of 3–5 meters between them. Player number 6 starts in the neutral zone. Three attackers are positioned in Zone A and three in Zone B. The attackers in Zone A pass the ball among themselves, looking for an opportunity to play a firm, ground pass straight through the neutral zone to Zone B. Player number 6 is not permitted to enter the other zones but must move laterally to cover passing lanes and intercept the ball. Focus areas: footwork, the ability to read the ball carrier's eyes and body language, and maintaining correct positioning.
